It’s all too easy to stick to the same regime whether that is picking up the same coffee every morning, the same bite to eat at lunchtime, the same gym session in the evening… or even the same grooming regime. With the new year and a new decade ahead of us, why not break out from the mould and try something new.
Regenerate your face
After a busy December of socialising and no doubt a little overindulgence, together with the chilly, wet weather of winter, there’s nothing better than a new skin regime to liven up your looks and feel fresh and ready for the year ahead.
Before your shave we recommend using a pre-shave product to help moisturise and make your skin more supple. This adds a layer of protection to your skin ahead of shaving and keeps the suppleness locked in.
A good moisturiser is always essential. Natural ingredients such as those found in our Herbal Skin Moisturiser will suit most skins. Packed with honey, avocado and vitamin E, which are renowned for capturing in moisture, nourishing and revitalising your skin, it is a good way to finish your regime leaving you feeling fresh and making your skin look smooth.
Look after your nails
It is easy to neglect your hands but having manicured nails gives you that ‘well-groomed’ feeling and makes you look complete. If you haven’t focused on this area in the past, why not try it and feel the difference. There are a number of tools to work with and use, but let’s keep is simple and focus on the basics. The essentials include a manicure stick (to remove any dirt under the nails), nail scissors or clippers, a cuticle pusher, a nail file and a good soap to freshen up your hands afterwards. At Taylor we have a wide range of manicure sets in leather cases to cover all your needs.
Try a new fragrance
Everyone finds a fragrance that suits them, but how often do you switch that up? Sometimes even a subtle change in fragrance notes will flex your mood and add a zest or a spice to perk up and freshen up. You may already be familiar with our bestselling Taylor of Old Bond Street Sandalwood range, with its oriental woody spice and citrus green freshness, but have you tried some of the other fragrances in the range? The Mr Taylor fragrance is a timeless classic with herbaceous notes of lavender and bergamot, and spans across a broad range of men’s grooming products. Or check out the latest addition to the range, Royal Forest, with its invigorating tones of apple, blackcurrant and berries and underlying jasmine, musk and vanilla. It’s a new year and a new decade, why not give it a go?
