SHAVING BRUSHES
The Shaving brush should be run under hot water and shaken so that the brush is wet but not saturated when placed onto the shave soap or cream. A good lather is obtained using a circular motion on the soap, without too much pressure. The face should then be massaged with the shave brush to cleanse the face and soften the facial hair. Ready for a clean close shave.
RAZORS & SHARP EDGES
A sharp blade is absolutely essential for a good, clean shave. We stock the more modern twin and triple head razors and the traditional Open straight edge razor. The cut throat razor must be used with extreme caution. We are very pleased to give advice on use before purchase. This method of shaving is the most traditional and argued by some to be the only way to shave.
SHAVING SETS
We are pleased to now offer a range of complete Shaving Sets comprising of Mach 3 Razors and Pure & Super Badger Shaving Brushes, presented on a Stand which both displays your Set and helps to maintain the Brush.
SHAVING SOAPS & CREAM
We offer two alternatives: Shaving cream in either a bowl (150g) or a handy tube (75g). The cream is placed on either a shaving brush or directly on the palm of the hand and then applied to the face, where the shaving brush is used to work up a lather (the 75g tube can be used with or without a brush). You will be amazed how well it moisturises your face. This is available in nine fragances. We also offer a hard shaving soap which is available in various bowls.
AFTER SHAVE & COLOGNE
Our specially formulated "Mr Taylor" after-shave is based on an idea passed down from generation to generation in the Taylor tradition. Alternatively, our "Shaving shop", "Sandalwood" and "Eton collection" after shaves are all true gentlemans aftershaves discreetly fragranced to complete the shave. Our latest release is the No.74 Collection, available in both Original and Victorian Lime.
